Back for Winter 2024, our very own synthetic skating experience returns by popular demand courtesy of Wonder Ice!

Our 22m x 7m fully covered super-glide rink offers an impressive alternative to real ice, ideal for beginners and young children.

Full skate hire and ‘penguin’ skate aids are available (on a first come first serve basis), ensuring a superb skating experience whatever your ability may be.

Don’t forget that you can skate 'til late on our 'Winter Nights' late night shopping evenings (Friday 29th Nov, Friday 6th, 13th & 20th Dec). 

Location: The artificial skating rink is located on our A-Z plant terrace, opposite the Historic Gardens 

Price: Adult/Child - £8, Under 3s - £4.50 

Dates: Open from Saturday 16th November - Sunday 5th January (open on weekends only for the first two weeks - please see booking calendar for exact dates).

We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

How to book:
Tickets can be purchased online or on the day at the skating rink if there is availability.
We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please be aware only walk-ins are available on the day.

• All sessions are 45 minutes long • Sessions begin on the hour daily from 10 am - 4 pm (10 am - 7 pm on our 'Winter Nights' late night shopping evenings) • Last session starts one hour before the stated closing time • You are welcome to use your own hockey skates - unfortunately, figure skates are not allowed.
