Join us on the 14th of May to enjoy an entertaining and informative 90 minute talk with an expert from David Austin Roses, including a Q&A session, plus a David Austin Rose of your choice (subject to choice availability).
The talk will take you behind the scenes of one of the leading rose breeding programmes in the world, giving an insight into the scale and intricacies of breeding new rose varieties, from seed right through to launch.
Your host will share their in-depth knowledge of roses, including cultivation, planting and care advice, as well as talking about their own personal favourite varieties and their versatility in the garden.
Specific topics covered include….
Breeding English roses, budding, recent introductions, planting and feeding, pruning English shrubs and English climbers, climbers and ramblers, roses for pots and containers, standards, roses for hedging, cut roses and rose gardens around the world.
The ticket price includes light refreshments and free entry to our beautiful RHS Partner Garden on the day of the event (usually £2.95 per adult).
