School's nearly out for summer and we've got plenty of family fun planned to make it a holiday to remember! Join us from 21 July - 1 September for the activities below, no pre-booking required.
Dinosaur Discovery Trail in the Historic Gardens
Journey back in time with us this summer as our Historic Gardens turn prehistoric with the addition of some life-sized dinosaur visitors!
Will you be brave enough to walk amongst them to complete our Dinosaur Discovery Trail?!
Your adventure could bring you face-to-face with a vicious Velociraptor, a ferocious Deinonychus or even the most feared of them all...the terrifying T. rex.
If this all sounds a little scary, do not fear! Our expert dinosaur ranger will be on hand to help keep things under control, and you on the right track!
Regular Historic Garden admission prices apply: Adults £2.95, Children/Concessions £2.45 (under 1s free). We also offer free entry for RHS members and are currently taking part in the Gardener's World 2-for-1 gardens entry scheme (RHS member/Gardener's World 2-for-1 card must be shown on entry).

'Wentworth by the Sea' at Wentworth Family Farm
We're bringing the fun of the beach to the Family Farm this summer with a host of classic seaside activities in addition to our usual animal meet & greet sessions.
Activities running daily from 21 July - 1 September:
Sandcastle Competition - Daily at 2 pm at our sand and water play area. All participants will receive sweets for taking part and the winner will receive a free return entry voucher (for one child).
Animal Meet & Greet Sessions - Daily at the times below at our 'meet & greet' area:
10.30 am - meet the tortoise
11 am - feed & talk at the Asian palm civet enclosure
12 pm - meet the lizard
1 pm - meet the guinea pig
3 pm - meet the creepy crawly
Giant Deckchair Photo Opportunity - Make sure you come photo-ready as our giant deckchair is the perfect spot to take a super summer selfie to remember your day out!
Activities on set days of the week from 21 July - 1 September:
Punch & Judy Puppet Show - Mondays only at 11.30 am, 1.30 pm & 3.30 pm in the main animal barn. No puppet shows on Monday 10 August
Stilt Walkers - Monday 10 August only at 11.30 am, 1.30 pm & 3.30 pm in the main animal barn
Balloon Modelling - Mondays only at 12.30 & 2.30 pm in the main animal barn
Donkey Rides - Tuesdays and Thursdays only, £2.50 per ride. Payment will be taken at the Family Farm gift shop till and the donkey rides will take place in a grassed area nearby the Family Farm
Face Painting - Saturdays only in the main animal barn from 11 am - 1 pm
